Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are used to cover the teeth that are discolored, damaged, broken, worn or aesthetically distorted by covering them 360 degrees. Crowns can be used over your existing teeth or implants. Here, with the latest generation technologies, a tooth can be built like a sculpture from start to finish.
They are applied as Metal Porcelain Crowns (PFM) and Zirconium Crowns (Zirconia).
There is no light transmission in metal-supported porcelain crowns. Since zircon crowns have light transmittance, the closest aesthetic appearance to the natural tooth is achieved. Metal supported porcelain crowns corrode over time. It can cause disadvantages such as colour changes in the gums, metallic taste in the mouth, recession in the gums.
Zircon crowns are a metal-free coating treatment. Zircon crowns have high tissue compatibility and do not corrode. They do not create disadvantages such as colour changes in the gums, metallic taste in the mouth, recession in the gums. In addition, while the appearance of Zirconium crowns is more natural, the appearance of Metal porcelain crowns is more artificial and dull.
Dental Crowns are frequently used in smile design.
